Held each springtime, SBS's Parent Council Fun-A-Thon takes various forms. Whether a Read-a-Thon, coordinated with a local bookshop, or a Fun-Run held on our beautiful campus, this event is a healthy, fun, and student-centric fundraiser that helps raise funds to support our top-notch education.
march 23 Fun-Run
Our bi-annual Fun Run will be taking place during school hours on March 23, 2023. Our fundraising goal is $20,000 to complete Parent Council's 20/20/20 goal for the school year. This entails fundraising $20,000 each via our three primary fundraisers (EVF, Auction, and the Fun-A-thon) to provide a total of $60,000 to the school annually.
See below for the link to our Pledge Site - you can begin fundraising in your student's name now. This is a great opportunity for grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other friends and family to help our school. Please share your child's page with anyone that might be interested in giving a tax-deductible donation. All parents should have received an e-mail invitation for your student's page should you wish to add a picture. If not, please let us know.
The class with the highest number of donations (not total dollar amount, but separate donations by different individuals) will win a class pizza party! As of March 8, Third Grade was leading with 24 donations and 30% class participation. First Grade was a close second with 23 donations. With only 20% of students participating school wide, let's strive to bring up our numbers.
